Universal AI Voice Translate (hereinafter referred to as "this software") is a professional recording, translation,
and AI language service tool.
This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") informs you (hereinafter referred to as "the User")
about how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, as well as your rights regarding such
information. By downloading this application through the Apple App Store and granting necessary permissions (e.g.,
microphone, storage), you are deemed to have fully read, thoroughly understood, and voluntarily accepted all terms
of this Policy. If you disagree with any part of this Policy, please immediately cease using this
application.
Scope of Application
- This Policy applies solely to information collected by this application through device functions (microphone,
storage, network) and does not apply to the following scenarios:
- Information collected in offline scenarios;
- Information collected by third-party services (third parties operate under their own privacy policies; specific
service providers and rules are listed in the attached "SDK List"; we assume no responsibility).
- When accessing third-party services through this application, you must review the relevant third-party privacy
policies independently. Any associated risks shall be borne solely by you.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
1. The establishment, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Policy shall be governed by the
laws of the Mainland Region of the People's Republic of China (excluding all conflict of laws rules).
2. Any disputes arising from this Policy shall first be resolved through friendly consultation between the parties.
If consultation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with the People's Court where the
defendant is located.
Basic Principles for Personal Information Processing
We strictly adhere to the following principles when processing your personal information to ensure lawful and
compliant data handling:
- Legality Principle: All information collection and use comply with the Personal Information
Protection Law of the People's Republic of China and other applicable laws and regulations, without evading
statutory responsibilities.
- Legitimate Purpose Principle: Information processing purposes are genuine and explicit, and we
do not obtain your authorization through fraudulent or misleading means;
- Necessity Principle: We collect only the minimum information necessary to fulfill the core
functions of this application and do not collect data unrelated to such functions;
- Principle of Integrity: We truthfully disclose information processing rules, without
concealing data usage or misleading your understanding of data security;
- Security Principle: Industry-standard security measures are implemented to protect personal
information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
Scope of Information Collection and Permissions
We collect only the information necessary to fulfill this application's functions. All collection activities are
based on explicit notification and your active authorization, as detailed below:
Information Related to Core Functions
Recording and AI Processing Information: To enable recording, AI recognition, and translation
features, we require your authorization for corresponding permissions and collect the following information:
- Microphone Permission: Used to capture audio signals, providing raw material for AI speech
recognition and real-time translation. Audio data is collected only temporarily when you initiate recording and
is not accessed in the background when recording is inactive.
- Storage Permission: Used to save recording files and AI translation results to your device
storage. We do not batch-scan or store other files on your device.
- Network Permission: Enables AI translation's online functionality and software security
updates. Disabling this will prevent network-dependent features, but basic recording functionality remains
operational.
2. Feedback and Support Information: When submitting issues via email, you may voluntarily provide
details such as device model, system version, problem description, and relevant screenshots. This information is
solely used to address your request and is not linked to other data.
Automatically Collected Non-Identifiable Information
During your use of this application, we automatically collect the following anonymized data for feature adaptation
and troubleshooting. This data does not include sensitive personal information:
1. Basic Device Information: Device model, system version, and application version number, used to
optimize functionality compatibility across different devices;
2. Feature usage logs: Frequency of feature usage and launch success/failure status, used to
identify fault scenarios;
3. AI feature data: AI translation language selections and the number of times users manually
corrected translations, used to iterate AI algorithms.
All the above information is anonymized and cannot be linked to your personal identity. It is solely used for
product optimization and not for commercial marketing.
Paid Service Information
If you purchase paid services within this application, the payment process is completed by Apple Inc. through the
in-app purchase interface:
- We only obtain anonymized transaction credentials (e.g., purchased items, subscription
validity period, order status) via iOS system APIs to verify your paid entitlements;
- We do not collect your sensitive payment information (such as bank card numbers, payment passwords, or
verification codes). Such information is stored and protected by Apple Inc. in accordance with its Apple Privacy
Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
Information Usage Rules
The information we collect is used solely for the following purposes and not for any other scenarios not specified
in this policy. All usage adheres to the "minimum necessary" principle:
Core Functionality Implementation
- Recording and AI Services: Audio data collected via the microphone is used for AI speech
recognition, real-time translation, and simultaneous interpretation. All AI processing occurs locally on your
device.
- Data Storage and Management: Information collected through storage permissions is used to save
audio files and translation results, enabling you to view or export them at any time;
- Network Function Support: Network status information collected via network permissions ensures
AI translation dictionary updates, real-time simultaneous interpretation responses, and secure software
upgrades.
Product Optimization and Troubleshooting
- Device basic information and usage logs are anonymized to analyze high-frequency needs and troubleshoot issues;
- AI feature data is used to optimize algorithms and enhance functionality;
- Feedback and inquiry information is used to address your specific issues and summarize common problems to
optimize services.
Information Storage and Security Protection
Storage Rules
Storage Locations:
- Local Data (AI translation results, device information): Stored locally on your iOS device without cross-border
transmission;
- Anonymized data (usage logs, device information): Stored on servers within China for statistical analysis.
Storage Duration:
- Local Data: Retained until you uninstall this application or manually delete it via "Settings > Data
Management > Clear All Data";
Security Protection Measures
- Local Data Encryption: Audio recordings and translation results stored on your device are
encrypted using system keys to prevent unauthorized access by other applications;
- Permission Control: This app requests only necessary permissions and does not request
irrelevant permissions. You may revoke permissions at any time via "Settings > Privacy & Security >
Universal AI Voice Translate."
- Emergency Response: In the event of an information security incident, we will immediately
activate our protocol to:
- Block leakage channels;
- Notify you via in-app alerts and email regarding the incident details and response measures;
- If service suspension is required, we will provide 3 days' advance notice.
Your Security Precautions
- Download this app exclusively from the Apple App Store to avoid third-party cracked versions and prevent
malicious programs from stealing local recordings;
- If your device is lost or your account shows abnormal activity, we recommend remotely locking the device via
system settings to protect sensitive recordings;
- Regularly clear unused recordings via "Settings > Data Management > Clear All Data" to reduce privacy
exposure risks.
Information Sharing and Transfer
We strictly limit information sharing and transfer. We do not proactively disclose your personal information to any
third parties, except under the following legal or contractual circumstances:
Information Sharing
- Third-Party Technical Support To achieve specific functionalities, we only share necessary
information with authorized partners and enter into confidentiality agreements to restrict their usage scope.
For details regarding information collected by third-party SDKs, please refer to the "SDK List" appendix
of this agreement.
- Legal and Administrative Requirements When required to provide information pursuant to laws,
regulations, judicial subpoenas, or government requests, we will only disclose necessary data within the scope
permitted by law and require recipients to maintain confidentiality.
- Protection of Legitimate Rights and Interests: In urgent situations where it is necessary to
protect you, other users, or the public interest, we may share anonymized information with relevant parties, and
such disclosure shall be strictly limited to the scope permitted by law.
Information Transfer
We do not transfer your personal information unless one of the following circumstances occurs:
- Obtaining your explicit written consent;
- In cases of corporate mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcy liquidation, or other asset transfers, your information
(excluding recordings and translation results) may be transferred as part of the assets. We will require the
transferee to continue adhering to this policy, and any changes to the purpose of use will require your renewed
consent.
Your Information Rights and How to Exercise Them
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent for your personal information. You may exercise
these rights independently through the following methods:
Permission Withdrawal and Service Termination
- Permission Withdrawal: Access "Settings > Privacy & Security > Universal AI Voice
Translate" to disable permissions such as microphone, storage, network, and notifications. Withdrawn permissions
will disable corresponding features but will not affect previously stored information.
- Service Termination: Uninstalling this application will cease all information processing
activities. Local data on your device will be deleted (back up important files beforehand).
Request Response Guidelines
- Before processing your request, we may require identity verification (e.g., device screenshots, email address
used for feedback submission). Requests will be processed after verification is completed.
- Requests may be denied under the following circumstances:
- Requests involving others' privacy;
- Requests violate laws or regulations;
- The request is technically unfeasible.
Protection of Minors' Personal Information
This application does not target minors under the age of 14 and implements additional protective measures for
minors' information:
- Usage Requirements: Minors under 14 years of age are prohibited from using this application.
If you are a person with limited capacity for civil conduct aged 14 or older but under 18, you must read this
policy with your legal guardian and obtain their consent before using this application (especially paid
features).
- Data Deletion: If we discover that information of a minor has been collected without guardian
consent, we will delete the relevant data within 7 business days after verification. Guardians may contact us to
assist in deleting the minor's local files (requires provision of guardian identification and proof of
parent-child relationship).

We may revise this policy based on changes in laws and regulations or feature iterations:
- Non-material changes (e.g., wording improvements, SDK list updates): Directly updated on the
"Settings > Privacy Policy" page within this app. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Personal Information Security Specification.
- Matters not covered herein shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of
China;
- The operator of this application reserves the final right of interpretation for this policy.
